Is there a screen saver mode?
The Hygro+'s screen goes into standby mode after 30 seconds of inactivity. If you press any button, the screen will come back on.
Can I use the night function alone?
Yes. Just make sure there is no water in the tank.
How do I choose the colour of the night light? How do I close the light?
To choose a colour, press the nightlight button several times until you find the desired colour.
For the rainbow option, press and hold the night light button for 5 seconds.
To switch it off, press the nightlight button several times until it turns off.
Why won't my Hygro+ work after I set up the desired humidity?
The function of this device is to humidify the air in the room where it is located. In order for it to be triggered during programming, there must be a difference of more than 5% from the humidity level measured by the device. For example, if the measured level is 45%, the appliance cannot be triggered if you set it to 50%.
If the measured humidity level in the room is higher than the programmed level, it will not trigger, as it cannot dehumidify the air (remove moisture).
How do I use the essential oils?
To put essential oils in your Hygro+, Pour 2 drops of water and 1 drop of essential oil into the cup provided for this purpose.
Clean all the elements after each use.
Improper handling of the essential oils will lead to corrosion of the plastic.
How come water is leaking from the top of my Hygro+?
Even if you do not use essential oil in your appliance, you should always place the essential oil cup at the top of the chimney. Otherwise, the absence of this cup will cause excessive condensation between the chimney and the tank and will create a water drain between these two parts.
How come there is no steam or very little steam coming out? or why is there limescale in the base?
It seems that your appliance has tartar build-up. You must decalcify/clean your Hygro+ once a week. We also invite you to check the position of the float (thick round white washer) in the motor base on the right. This float must be held at the bottom of the base by the plastic piece pressed into the peak above.
Why is there a red light while water is in the tank?
We invite you to check the position of the float (thick round white washer) in the motor base on the right. This float has to be held at the bottom of the base by the plastic piece pushed into the peak above (as on the photo attached to this email).
On the other hand, one must also pay attention to the direction of the valve (cap) on the tank. The small spring in the middle of the valve must be facing outwards.

Decalcifying/Cleaning your Hygro+
To do this, you must first unplug your device and then:
For the tank:
Mix 100ml of water with 100ml of bleach, pour the mixture into the tank, close the valve, shake the tank, rinse and leave to dry.
For the base:
Pour 100ml of water and 100ml of white vinegar into the base and leave for 4 hours. You can then rinse and dry the base.
If you have not done this cleaning regularly before, we invite you to pour pure white vinegar into the base and leave it to work for 8 hours, cold.
